Slams
A Slam is a set of species you have to catch at a specific place. Not a badge for logging in. A real list, at a real spot, with a fence around it.
Real spot, real fence, real list
Each Slam is tied to a pier, inlet, bridge, reef, lake, or river section with a radius drawn around it. Your catch has to be inside that radius and it has to be Authentic. Complete the list and the Slam is yours.
- Geo fenced with the radius visible on the map, typically a few hundred meters
- Verified catches only, so completing one actually means something

- Statewide Slams for species sets that span a whole state rather than one spot
From your home pier to a whole state
Water body Slams
A species list tied to one named water, with a fence around it. Catch the list inside the fence. This is the common shape and the one your local water will have.
Statewide Slams
A species set that spans an entire state, like the Florida Largemouth Bass Slam. Surfaced in a banner on the map when one applies where you are.
Difficulty tiers
Standard is achievable in a season. Hard takes real effort. Legendary is a genuine chase that most anglers will not complete.
Invites
Share a Slam with people you fish with through an invite link and run it as a group rather than alone.
Four formats
Single species, where most catches wins. Multi species, a list of up to ten and one of each. Hunt, several of one fish. Bag, a list with a count against each species. The format decides what winning means.
Crew chat
Every Slam has a group thread for the anglers in it, which is why a Slam with four people beats one with forty.
Champions and periods
Slams run in periods with champions crowned per period. When a Slam retires it finalizes and a fresh one is created in the same pass.
Fills your Fishdex™
Every Slam catch is also a Fishdex™ entry. The two systems reinforce each other rather than duplicating effort.
About slams
No. Slam progress requires Authentic catches captured live in the app inside the geo fence. That is the entire reason the verification system exists.
Each Slam has its own radius, commonly in the range of two hundred to five hundred meters from the spot center. The fence is drawn on the map so you can see exactly where it ends.
Yes. Pick the water, pick the species list, set the fence and the period, and it goes live. The app validates the location and previews the card before you publish, then you share an invite link with whoever you want in it. Every Slam in Cobia was made by somebody this way.
