Cobia is a free AI fishing app for iPhone that reads tide stage, wind, barometric trend, water temperature, moon phase, and seafloor bathymetry, then tells anglers where to fish, when to be there, and what to tie on. It combines a daily briefing and conversational fishing guide with depth and habitat map layers, cryptographically anchored catch verification, a digital tackle box built from scanned receipts, and a competitive layer of geo fenced species challenges and per spot leaderboards. Cobia is built in Jupiter, Florida.

What makes it different
- Verification at capture. Catches shot through the Cobia Camera are marked Authentic with location, time, and conditions bound in. Imported photos are labeled as such and do not rank.
- Bathymetry and habitat. Depth contours and FWC seagrass and oyster layers, free, in a consumer fishing app.
- Recommendations from your own gear. The tackle box is populated by receipt scanning, and lure picks are ranked from what you actually own.
- Per catch spot privacy. Private, fuzzed, or exact, decided catch by catch with the protective option as the default.
- Free to use. All twenty one features cost nothing today, Strike Zones included.
