Yes. There is an age assurance system with a minor mode that changes what is visible and what interactions are permitted. It is live in the app rather than planned.

Only if you choose to share them. Every catch has its own visibility setting. Private keeps it entirely to yourself, fuzzed names the water body but offsets the coordinates, and exact shares the real pin. The default is the protective option.

Authentic means the photo was captured live in the Cobia Camera with the location, timestamp, and conditions bound in at capture. Imported means it came from your camera roll, where metadata can be edited. Both count for your own log and your Fishdex™. Only Authentic catches rank on leaderboards, Slams, and crowns.

NOAA CO OPS tide stations, NOAA BlueTopo and CRM bathymetry, USGS water gauges, FWC seagrass and oyster habitat surveys, national weather and marine forecast feeds, a solunar engine, state regulation data, and catch history contributed by anglers.

It is survey derived and good enough to read structure and plan where to fish. It is not a navigational chart and you should never navigate by it. Use official charts and your own sounder for that.

Yes. A Bite is a short video of the cast and catch with a mystery reveal, and it counts toward species just like a photo catch.

Length and weight can be recorded on a catch and are labeled by how they were obtained. Sensor assisted measurement on Pro iPhones is on the roadmap rather than shipped today.

No. Messaging is gated on the follow relationship, and the gate checks who follows you rather than who you follow.

Not in the feed. Brands can have profiles and post like any account, and local tackle shops appear on the map, but the feed is not an ad surface and lure recommendations are not for sale.

A set of species you have to catch at a specific place, with a GPS fence around it. Complete the list with verified catches inside the fence and the Slam is yours. Some Slams are statewide rather than tied to one spot.

The angler with the most verified catches at a given spot holds the crown there, displayed with the angler title they chose, for example Dock Boss of Juno Pier. It updates live and it can be taken from you.
